House with a panoramic view

Back
Pissouri, Limassol
Architectural renderings of the Pissouri House project
1/6

A contemporary detached residence is being planned on a sloping plot in Pissouri, Limassol. The plot has unobstructed views to the southeast towards Pissouri Bay and to the north towards the Troodos mountain.

Taking these two key parameters into account, along with the client’s desire for abundant natural light throughout all interior spaces, the architectural design was developed accordingly.

A defining element of the composition is the direct and independent access of the bedrooms to the garden and swimming pool, without passing through the communal living areas. This approach allows the residence to be integrated smoothly with the natural topography of the site.

The three-bedroom residence is arranged over three levels: a basement, a ground floor, and a first floor.

The ground floor, at street level, accommodates the main living areas — kitchen, dining area, and living room — while the lower level is dedicated to the bedrooms.

All primary living spaces are oriented towards the sea and mountain views, while secondary spaces such as bathrooms and the staircase are positioned on the northern side, facing the public road. This layout results in a largely closed façade towards the street, with open, permeable elevations on the remaining sides, ensuring ample daylight, panoramic views, and privacy.

The first floor houses wellness areas, including a gym and sauna, offering panoramic views of both the mountains and the sea.

The architectural language is defined by clean, minimal lines that follow the natural slope of the terrain. Generous balconies and outdoor spaces extend daily living to the exterior, while the swimming pool is strategically placed in the southeastern garden, strengthening the connection between the residence and the surrounding landscape.

The selected materials include local stone and white plaster, creating a subtle dialogue with the traditional character of Pissouri and the natural environment.
